SYNOPSIS
A lonely young girl adopts an orphaned dog who helps her make friends in the small florida town where she and her preacher father have just moved; But more important, the two of them bring the community together, and in the process, the young girl and her father are finally able to make peace over having been abandoned by the girl's mother.
