Synopsis

The season begins with Angel getting straight into action, staking a female vampire he recognises from his past, but a moment too late. Her grief-stricken lover, Angel's old fighting buddy, is out for revenge for the present killing and a betrayal Angelus committed over 200 years ago. Angel then goes into full detective mode when Fred's parents unexpectedly arrive in Los Angeles to bring Fred home, but their appearance inexplicably sends her into a tailspin and on the run. Violence erupts within Angel's gang as a demonic boy (guest star Justin Shilton) brings primal rage to the surface of men, turning them hateful and murderous towards women. As   Wesley and Gunn turn on a frightened Fred, Cordelia fears the onslaught of Angel's dark side. With one of the   most gripping storylines to date Angel comes face-to-face with the consequences of his night of passion when  Darla (guest star Julie Benz) arrives on his doorstep inexplicably pregnant. While Angel tortures himself over   the decision whether or not to destroy the demon seed, the gang uncovers a prophecy that predicts the arrival   of a great evil which will bring about the ruination of mankind. Angel must do everything in his power to protect Darla and their unborn child when Wolfram & Hart launch a full attack to take mother and baby, in addition to a vampire cult who believe the baby is The Miracle Child. As Darla violently begins childbirth, Angel faces the responsibility of becoming a father and the possibilities of what miracle or destruction this new being may bring to the world. He discovers how hard it is being a new dad - especially when the demon underworld is after your newborn son.

Fred solves a puzzle for a group of demons who literally want to buy her brain;  Angel is hired to clean out a    
vampire nest by a man who can't afford to pay for Angel's services;  Wes and Gunn help a woman whose dead   
boyfriend is stalking her.   
- WAITING IN THE WINGS   
Angel and his friends attend a ballet, where Angel realises he saw the exact same dancers on stage 110 years   
ago.   
- COUPLET   
Angel struggles with his jealousy of the Groosalugg and Cordelia's attraction to him;  Gunn and Fred get    
captured by a tree monster.   
- LOYALTY   
Wes dreads the fulfilment of the prophecy that Angel will kill Connor;  Sahjhan becomes dissatisfied with    
Holtz's progress in staking Angel and takes matters into his own hands;  Fred and gunn try to figure out how to   
juggle working together and their new romance.   
- SLEEP TIGHT   
To save Connor's life, Wes takes him away from Angel;  Angel uncovers Lilah's plot to have him kill Connor;   
Holtz finally attacks.   
- FORGIVING   
As Fred and Gunn search for Wesly, Angel searches for Sahjhan - and casts a spell to make him corporeal so   
he can be killed.   
- DOUBLE OR NOTHING   
When a demon Gunn once sold his sould come to collect on the debt, Angel, Fred and Cordelia help to save him.   
- THE PRICE   
The Angel's hotel is infested by demonic slugs created by the spell used to alter Sahjhan.   
- A NEW WORLD   
Angel pursues Connor, who makes a new friend on the streets;  something else comes through the portal  from   
Quor-toth;  Lilah approaches Wesley.   
- BENEDICTION   
Holtz insists that Connor rejoin Angel; Justine learns Holtz is back; the Groosalugg realises the depths of   
Coredelia's feelings for Angel.   
- TOMORROW    
Connor returns to Angel to seek his revenge;  Angel and Cordelia acknowledge their feelings for each other.
